Mobile Notary Service
Mr-Inspect.com offers a mobile notary service to those clients who cannot travel due to lack of transportation or the inability to travel distances.
Why would I you this service?
There are times when a person may have the need of a notary but due to circumstances beyond their control cannot travel to one.
Such as when the need arises to notarize signatures for older persons who are house bound. Or times when a person may need documents
notarized from friends or relatives who are hospitalized or confined to a nursing facility.
Call Us
At times like these you can call on us a Mr-Inspect.com to provide you with a fast and reliable mobile notary service serving
the long island and greater metro New York area. We’re just a phone call away! When you call for this service we will dispatch a bona fide New York state
Notary Public to wherever you want at a convenient scheduled time to perform this low cost service for you.
What does it cost for this service?
Besides the nominal standard fees, which are set by the state of New York for the actual notarization, there is a separate fee of $25.00 per hour for time and travel
expenses. Time is calculated for two-way travel from the office to the meeting site and back plus time actually spent at the meeting site. Time is rounded up to the
nearest half hour. There is a one hour minimum.
The actual time involved depends upon the location of the meeting place and the amount of time needed to do the notarization, although the average time involved is
about 2-3 hours making the average charge $50.00-$75.00 dollars. THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR MILEAGE IN THE LONG ISLAND NEW YORK AREA. Toll charges will apply
when involved. Additional charges may apply for the Upstate New York area.
Why not just call a lawyer?
Of coarse you can also call the faithful family lawyer if you so desire but in cases where a simple notarization needs to be performed or a deposition taken the cost
of a lawyer is going to be far greater. A lawyer can charge $250.00 per hour or more while a notary service is as you can see far less. You wouldn’t call a brain
surgeon to remove a splinter would you?
How is the fee collected
The fee is payable at the time of the service in cash, check, money order or Visa/ MasterCard. Other methods of payment may be worked out in advance for bulk work or
mass notarizations or depositions.
